Yearling season is officially here, and Bourbon Lane Stable is adding to its roster with a strong new prospect. At the Fasig-Tipton July Sale, we acquired a chestnut colt by Drain the Clock, consigned by Endeavor Farm. Born on March 14, 2024, the colt was purchased for $105,000. With his solid build and speed, he looks ready to join the winning partnerships Bourbon Lane is known for.

This colt is by Drain the Clock, a Grade 1-winning sprinter who is starting to make his mark as a sire at Gainesway Farm. Drain the Clock has an impressive race record, including wins in the Woody Stephens Stakes (G1), Swale Stakes (G3), and Bay Shore Stakes (G3), with total earnings of $698,000. His pedigree includes the sire Maclean's Music and dam Manki, a daughter of Arch.
About Bourbon Lane Stable
Bourbon Lane was built on the idea that winning partnerships aren’t just about the horses—they’re about a shared commitment to success. Since 2010, Bourbon Lane has provided investors the opportunity to be part of a stable that doesn’t just talk about results, but delivers them. Our partnerships are crafted with the same boldness and craftsmanship you’d expect from a premier bourbon—never watered down, always focused on performance.
Bourbon Lane is currently offering shares in our 2025 Yearling Partnership, with a minimum investment of $10,000. There are still spots available, and we plan to add two more yearlings to the partnership throughout the season. Our next stop: the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale.
