Mary Motion joined McMahon & Hill Bloodstock in 2025 as Director of Business Development, bringing a strong background in both training and bloodstock to the team. In her role, she oversees client and partner engagement across Bourbon Lane Stable and McMahon & Hill’s various racing and ownership ventures, including partnerships, pinhooking LLCs, and single-horse co-ownerships.

 

Mary grew up immersed in the Thoroughbred industry and has worked for some of the sport’s most respected horsemen, including her uncle, Classic-winning trainer Graham Motion, Christophe Clement, and international bloodstock agent Chad Schumer. Her diverse experience in racing and sales gives her a unique perspective on the ownership experience, from selecting horses at auction to managing them on the racetrack.

 

As the main point of contact for current and prospective partners, Mary is dedicated to providing clear communication, hands-on support, and a personalized experience for every client. Her goal is to make Thoroughbred ownership more accessible while upholding the quality, transparency, and results that define McMahon & Hill Bloodstock and Bourbon Lane Stable.
