Bourbon Lane Stable finished the day on a high note with a Bourbon Lane NZ exacta in the final race at Tauranga.

In the Rating 75 Benchmark over 1600 meters on turf, Bourbon Proof showed determination in the lane to hold off his fast-closing stablemate Queen Zou, who came flying down the outside and nearly got there at the wire. It was a thrilling finish that highlighted the consistency and talent within the Stephen Marsh Racing barn.

Both horses are trained by Stephen Marsh, with Matthew Cameron aboard Bourbon Proof and Matt Cartwright on Queen Zou. The pair stopped the clock in 1:36.47, securing an impressive result for Bourbon Lane NZ and showcasing the strength of their New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing program.
