Bourbon Lane Adds McKinzie Filly at Keeneland September

Bourbon Lane Stable has added another quality yearling at the 2025 Keeneland September Sale, purchasing Hip 1799 for $150,000 from Buckland Sales. The bay filly is by MCKINZIE, a multiple Grade 1-winning son of Street Sense, and she hails from the immediate family of graded stakes performer LOGICAL MYTH.

This filly will be part of the Bourbon Lane Stable 2025 Yearling Partnership LLC as a co-owne

rship opportunity. Each partnership includes three horses with a minimum investment of $10,000 per share.

We are thrilled to add one of MCKINZIE’S daughters to our team. A top-class racehorse, MCKINZIE was a Grade 1 winner at two, three, and four. Trained by Bob Baffert, he captured races such as the Malibu Stakes (G1), the Pennsylvania Derby (G1), and the Whitney Stakes (G1), and finished second in the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1). He earned over $3.4 million on the track and has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting young stallions in Kentucky.

MCKINZIE’S first crops are already making an impact, led by SCOTTISH LASSIE, winner of the Grade 1 Coaching Club American Oaks at Saratoga. With his proven versatility and consistency, MCKINZIE is passing along the same balance and quality that made him such a standout on the track.
