Bourbon Lane Adds Epicenter Filly at Keeneland September

Bourbon Lane Stable is pleased to announce the purchase of Hip 1648, a bay filly by Epicenter, acquired privately for $90,000 from Warrendale Sales at the 2025 Keeneland September Yearling Sale. Bloodstock agents Mike McMahon and Jamie Hill of McMahon & Hill Bloodstock secured the filly on behalf of Bourbon Lane.

This April foal is a half-

sister to Grade 2 winner Boardroom and Grade 3-placed Tiz Her Money, making her a standout addition to the Bourbon Lane roster. She will ship to Hidden Brook Farm in Florida for her early training and later join the barn of trainer Mark Hennig, who has developed numerous graded stakes winners throughout his career.

Her sire, Epicenter, was the 2022 Champion 3-Year-Old Male after victories in the Grade 1 Travers Stakes and Grade 2 Jim Dandy, along with runner-up finishes in both the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes. His first crop of yearlings has been well received, with strong representation at major auctions, further cementing his place as one of the most exciting young stallions in the country.

Bourbon Lane Stable continues to build partnerships through careful selection at premier auctions like Keeneland September. Each Bourbon Lane partnership typically includes three horses, with a minimum investment of $10,000 per share, offering partners the opportunity to participate in multiple racing prospects with proven bloodlines.
