Forte Filly Delivers Another Successful Pinhook for McMahon & Hill Bloodstock

McMahon & Hill Bloodstock continued its success at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale with Hip 994, a Forte filly who sold for $200,000 from the Warrendale Sales consignment.
The filly was purchased for $160,000 at the 2025 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale and returned to Keeneland as a yearling, selling for $40,000 more than her original purchase price.
From the first crop of champion 2-year-old Forte, the dark bay or brown filly is out of Gravy, a daughter of Collected. Her second dam, Flawless Diamond, produced stakes winners Blue Heart and Financial Recovery. The family also includes G2 Norfolk Stakes winner Valiant Force.
The transaction marks another successful pinhook for McMahon & Hill Bloodstock, following the $325,000 sale of Hip 969, a City of Light filly purchased for $125,000 at Keeneland January.
Invest in the McMahon & Hill Bloodstock Pinhook Program
McMahon & Hill Bloodstock offers a partnership-based pinhook program focused on the purchase, development and resale of Thoroughbreds.
The program provides partners with the opportunity to participate in a fund that purchases horses at various ages and stages, including weanlings and yearlings, with the objective of identifying value and generating returns through future sales.
The team manages the acquisition and resale process, drawing on its bloodstock experience to evaluate potential purchases and identify suitable sales opportunities.
By participating in the program, partners can gain exposure to multiple horses and sales opportunities through a single investment structure.
