Fasig-Tipton KY October Yearling Sales Purchases
The McMahon & Hill Bloodstock team had a busy week at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky October Yearling Sale, purchasing a total of four yearlings. Two fillies by Arcangelo and Golden Pal completed our four-horse roster for the 2026 Bourbon Lane Yearling, LLC, while a Jackie's Warrior filly and Speaker's Corner colt were purchased in partnership with Hidden Brook for the 2025 M&H Pinhook, LLC.
2026 Bourbon Lane Yearling, LLC

Having already acquired two yearlings at the sales earlier this season, we were delighted to add a third horse to the 2026 Bourbon Lane Yearling, LLC. Purchased for $80,000, we secured a nice KTDF-registered Arcangelo filly. Arcangelo, winner of the 2023 Belmont Stakes and Travers Stakes, has impressed us with his first crop of yearlings. This filly is the first foal out of her dam, Condon Candy, who won her only start as a two-year-old in a Maiden Special Weight at Ellis Park.
She will begin her pre-training at Hidden Brook in Florida before joining Rodolphe Brisset next spring. Rodolphe and his team have been wonderful to work with, demonstrating exceptional horsemanship and communication.

Our fourth and final addition to the LLC was a KTDF-registered Golden Pal filly, purchased for $100,000 from Alfred Nuckols. This filly is out of a Bernardini mare and offers an exciting combination of pedigree, good physical, and residual value.
A two-time Breeders' Cup winner, Golden Pal is currently the leading freshman sire with 28 two-year-old winners, including nine stakes-winning or stakes-placed horses. Bernardini has also established himself as an exceptional broodmare sire, with his daughters producing more than 130 stakes winners worldwide.
Physically, this filly is everything we like to see in a yearling. She has plenty of size and leg, a lovely presence, and an exceptional walk. She will also head to Hidden Brook in Florida for pre-training, with her trainer to be determined.
These two fillies complete our 2026 Bourbon Lane Yearling, LLC, joining a KTDF-registered McKinzie colt, purchased for $190,000, who will be trained by Ian Wilkes, and a New York-bred Arabian Lion filly, purchased for $40,000, who will join Graham Motion.
We're very pleased with the four yearlings we've assembled for the LLC this year and look forward to following their development over the winter.
2025 M&H Pinhook, LLC

We also purchased two promising pinhook prospects in partnership with Hidden Brook, both of whom will be prepared for the two-year-old sales next spring.
Our Jackie's Warrior filly, purchased for $150,000, is out of a Frosted mare and has a pedigree packed with speed. A strong, athletic filly with a big hip, her sire is a five-time Grade 1 winner and 2021 Champion Male Sprinter. Jackie's Warrior is also currently second on the leading freshman sire list behind Golden Pal, with 17 winners from 55 starters, including 10 stakes horses. His first crop includes G2 Pilgrim Stakes winner Let Em Know, who is entered in this year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf.

We also purchased a Speaker's Corner colt for $40,000 in partnership with Hidden Brook. Out of Rolo Bolo, a two-time winning daughter of Speightstown, this colt is her first foal. The Street Sense sire line crossed with Speightstown mares has already produced some exciting runners, including Englishman, a son of Maxfield.
Speaker's Corner has made a promising start with his first crop and will be represented in this year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint by Grade 1-placed Harper's Corner.
