Tale of the Gypsy (NZ) continued her upward trajectory on Friday, January 30, with a strong win at Te Rapa Racecourse.

The 3YO chestnut filly lined up in Race 4, a Rating 65 Benchmark over 1200 meters on the turf, and showed her quality when it mattered most. Racing under New Zealand skies while it was still Thursday evening in the U.S., she rewarded the confidence we’ve had in her from the very beginning.

By Written By (AUS), Tale of the Gypsy continues to progress the right way, and this victory puts her firmly on track for a stakes assignment next. Performances like this are exactly why we believe in patience, thoughtful placement, and expert horsemanship.

It made the win even more meaningful to have Mike and Jamie in New Zealand celebrating alongside our partners! These are the moments that define the Bourbon Lane experience.

A sincere thank you to our partners and to the entire Stephen Marsh team for their dedication and excellent care of this filly. We’re excited for what’s ahead.

Cheers to horses worth raising a glass to!
