Kristin Stivers, a native of Florida, prophetically moved to Lexington, Kentucky on Derby weekend 1994, to further her career in the equine industry. A third generation horsewoman, she has been riding and showing American Saddlebreds since the age of two, earning multiple world’s and reserve world’s championship titles in a variety of divisions. Kristin has been a professional trainer, a bookkeeper for both Saddlebred and Thoroughbred horse farms, and, most recently, the Administrative Assistant to the President of the United Professional Horsemen’s Association at the Kentucky Horse Park. She holds dual degrees in business administration and the liberal arts, is a licensed USEF official (holding judge’s cards in six divisions) and is a member of the Thoroughbred Club of America, the United States Equestrian Federation, the American Morgan Horse Association, the American Hackney Horse Society, the American Road Horse and Pony Association, the United Professionals Horsemen’s Association, the American Saddlebred Horse Association, and the American Saddlebred Museum. Multi-talented, Kristin brings a deep appreciation of all breeds of horse, as well as a special affinity to the Thoroughbred industry, its people and its horses.
